Hi guys, I am looking for some help.
I am taking a KX100 top end and grafting it onto a Puch E50 bottom end. OK... you done laughing yet?
Actually its a popular conversion with the Dutch racers... but I dont speak the Dutch language very well.. or maybe at all lol
What I am looking at is the connecting rod. The puch racing cranks all use a 12mm wrist pin while the Kaw runs a 14mm.
I have found a few pistons with the 12mm pin that will work but the largest one is 51.5mm
If I use the KX100 I can go to 54.5... and I want to go as big as possible since its a lot of work to convert the case to accept the KX top end.
Does anyone know what the dia of the KX crank pin is? If I can find the spec I can hunt up a rod to press into the Puch crank and allow me to run the correct piston for the KX 100 cyl.
